Finding Joy in the Moment… and the Moving! *Grin*
Three months of packing… five days of moving, cleaning, scrubbing, painting and almost no unpacking yet, with another three weeks of the same, with almost all our well laid plans going awry, (like ensuring I had an internet connection to publish, post and share my Christmas stories and Heart to Heart projects), and every service provider and contractor letting us down… and despite how tired I am (because of too many takeaways and an upset tummy), all I feel is utter joy and contentment in our moving. *Grin*
It’s a soft misty rainy day, and I’m sitting at my desk, eating a healthy fresh salad (with just a little unhealthy bacon *Grin*), in my newly painted office with a view of the garden, and in the distant the gorgeous hills sparkle as the sun breaks through the clouds… just for a brief moment. *Smile*
And although there is still a lot to do… it’s taken 13 years to get to this point and place, so I’m going to savour every moment, and be grateful for every sore aching muscle and joint, because they are symbolic of us never giving up on our dream to buy a home in Kwa-Zulu Natal, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.
I am truly grateful for the abundance of blessings that have allowed us to take this step… and determined to “Find Joy in the Moment… and the Moving!” *Grin*
I will still share our Christmas stories and Heart to Heart projects daily, with a few days overlapping. 🙂
Enjoy, and as always, please like, share and comment… we love it when you do!
Happily celebrating the moment
