Confessions To My Therapist
(…that’s my beauty therapist *Grin*)
Lashes, lashes… lovely lashes!
Chapter 3
Dearest Heila
I did what you said.
I didn’t wash my eyes, lashes or shower until the next day… (scandalous) and I bought Johnson’s Baby Shampoo to use for cleaning my eyes.
(What we do for beauty!)
Although my eyes did sting a little, the eye drops you put in my eyes made a big difference.
I do, however, have a confession to make.
Please, please don’t be mad.
I haven’t been able to wear eye shadow or eye make-up for the past ten years, because my eyes have become so sensitive. (So I probably never should have even considered having lashes, never mind actually getting them… and now fluttering them around so flirtingly, *Smile*). I do wear eyeliner, and occasionally when I go out, I bravely apply mascara… usually with ‘sensitive’ results. I can wear eyeliner and mascara for about four hours and then my eyes start to tingle, sting… burn and water, and I was surprised when this didn’t happen on the first day.
I used the Baby Shampoo to clean my eyes on the following day, and they really stung, so I rinsed with lots and lots of water, and they were fine.
I even wore some eyeliner when I went out, without any problems… and my lashes looked as good, (maybe better) than Jesses with her layers of mascara. *Grin*
I’m not boasting of course… but, well… I look great. *Grin*
Happily Lashed,
Mands
